The Brief
Cornish Orchards is a craft cider company supplying the premium market with many award-winning ciders. Their production requirements were:
- Upgrade pressing and milling system to 6,000kg/hr
- Increase total tank capacity
- Bottle at 2,000 bottles/hr
- Tunnel pasteurise
The Solution
We supplied, installed & commissioned a complete cider production system, consisting of a 6 tonne an hour pressing system (Voran BP1200 ExPress belt press and WAR65 wash mill with elevator); a large number of Speidel stainless steel fermentation tanks (maximum tank capacity 58,000 litres); a 2,500 bottle per hour CIMEC bottling line with rinsing, filling & capping functions; a Vigo 2000 litre/hr carbonator; a tunnel pasteuriser; and an S2/T3R labelling machine to apply 3 labels (front, back and neck label) with lot marker.
