Juclas Easyfloat Mini Flotation Unit
Juclas Easyfloat Mini Flotation Unit
EASYFLOAT is a compact, high-efficiency flotation unit designed to achieve the desired must turbidity in real time during pump-over operations. Ideal for wineries seeking precise control and improved clarification performance, it offers a modern, flexible solution for a wide range of winemaking styles.
Gas dissolution is performed via a dedicated pump and a stainless steel pressurising cylinder. This component is crucial: it acts as a powerful dissolver, enabling the formation of stable flocculants that bind gas and solid particles for rapid removal.
EASYFLOAT works with both air and nitrogen, making it suitable for traditional winemaking, hyperoxygenation techniques and reductive vinification.
The unit is equipped with a complete electrical control board and integrated gas-management components. It can also be configured with one or two dosing pumps for adjuvants. When paired with the Dosacom® proportional dosing system, adjuvant efficiency increases significantly, reducing consumption and improving overall process effectiveness.
Advantages Over Traditional Static Clarification
- Lower cooling energy requirements
- Real-time turbidity control for more accurate fermentation management
- Reduced adjuvant consumption
- Fast removal of indigenous microorganisms from must
- Higher yield of clear must thanks to optimal lees consolidation
- Reduced lees volume, minimising downstream filtration needs
