Product Information

What types of equipment and consumables does Vigo supply?

Vigo supplies a comprehensive range of equipment and consumables for craft breweries, wineries, cideries, distilleries and other beverage producers. Our equipment range covers packaging (bottling lines, kegging systems, canning lines and bag-in-box filling machines), production (fermentation tanks, filtration systems, pasteurisers, temperature control units, alcohol removal technology, carbonators and testing equipment) and processing (brewhouses and fruit presses). We also stock a wide range of consumables including closures, bag-in-boxes, fittings, hoses, yeasts, and vineyard sundries.

Where do you source your equipment?

We work with carefully chosen manufacturers from across Europe and America, selecting partners whose equipment meets our standards for performance and durability. We are very
selective about who we work with, and only partner with manufacturers we trust. You can find out more about our manufacturer partners on our Manufacturers page.

Is Vigo's equipment safety certified?

Yes; we take the safety of the products we sell seriously and purchase from reputable suppliers. Where required under the relevant Directives, we ensure equipment is UKCA marked. As members of the CE Marking Association, we are authorised to issue UKCA marks where required and we stay up to date with changes in Directives and legislation.

Engineering Support

What engineering support does Vigo provide after purchase?

Support is central to everything we do at Vigo. We have a team of nine in-house engineers who are fully employed by us, covering mechanical, electrical, electronics, general engineering and welding. Our engineers can support you on-site or by phone, and our office-based engineers are also available for technical help, advice and guidance on keeping your equipment running at its best.

Does your team offer installation and commissioning?

For larger projects and equipment, our engineers provide assembly, re-assembly, on-site setup and commissioning to ensure everything is operating to your project requirements.

What warranty do you offer?

As standard, we provide a comprehensive 12-month parts and labour warranty, supported by our own Vigo engineers. Extended warranties are available on Voran presses and CIMEC bottling machines. Please contact us for further details.

Can Vigo carry out servicing and repairs on my equipment?

Yes, we carry out servicing and repairs on all equipment purchased from us. Service schedules can be tailored to fit your production demands. We also offer service contracts for lines and individual pieces of equipment, with scheduled maintenance visits and estimated parts costs. Each contract is tailored to your annual production requirements. To discuss servicing, repairs or a service contract, call our Engineering Department on 01404 892109 or email techsupport@vigoltd.com.

Can you adapt equipment to work with my existing setup?

Yes. We understand that equipment does not always integrate seamlessly into an existing line without intervention. Our engineers can make technical adaptations to ensure the equipment we supply connects and operates correctly within your setup.

What if I have an issue with equipment that Vigo did not supply?

Unfortunately, we are only able to support equipment that has been purchased from us. If you are experiencing difficulties with equipment sourced elsewhere, we would encourage you to contact your original supplier. If you are considering new equipment going forward, we would be happy to talk through your requirements.
