Brief
Laurel Vines Vineyard and Winery wanted to speed up their sparkling wine production, ahead of the release of their first-ever sparkling rosé and their next sparkling white wine.
Having successfully supplied a range of products to them, including Speidel Tanks for storage and fermentation, a neck freezer, and a range of consumables, they came to us to ensure they had an efficient machine for disgorging, dosing, topping up, and corking.

Solution
They opted for the Semi-Automatic Disgorging, Dosing & Topping, Corking & Muzzling Machine, from the renowned Barida International.
This machine arrives production-ready, fully set up and tested by our team of engineers, and allows you to rapidly disgorge, dose and top up English/Welsh sparkling wine, Champagne, and bottle-fermented ciders.
The semi-automatic corker means corks and wire muzzles can be added on faster, which is important for sparkling wine production.
The disgorger is adjustable, with automatic dosage, and options to change parts for different sized bottles.

Result
This disgorger doubled Laurel Vines’ production from 150 to 300 bottles per hour.
