The Kreyer VinInfo automatic temperature control system is manufactured by internationally renowned Kreyer, a WTG Quantor brand, who have over 40 years of specialist knowledge in wine temperature control at all stages of vinification. Kreyer systems are designed to meet the rigorous requirements of modern winemaking. They are also ideal for the temperature control of beer, cider, juice, spirits and soft drinks (see Application).

The VinInfo computerised management system is a flexible automated system, which can be controlled from your PC or laptop (via internet). The system sets, monitors and records the temperature conditions of each tank and fermentation rates through a PC or VinInfo terminal. Records can be used to set future batches ensuring consistency of fermentation and storage conditions. Fermentation rates can also be controlled by CO? monitoring. VinInfo can can include the following functions:

  • Tank temperature control
  • Pumps and cooling unit control
  • Dosing of oxygen (micro/macro process)
  • Fermentation by CO2 emission levels (sugar conversion)
  • Air-cooling and humidity level control
  • Timed-operation equipment (air-punching, pumped-flooding of the tank)
  • Reports, graphs and archive

VinInfo is a modular and flexible system. The building blocks of the VinInfo management system are the BU - the Basic Unit. Each tank and each additional item (pumps, room acclimatization units etc.) is regulated by its own BU. All BU in the winery/production area are connected with a single BUS cable running between them and then to the Server-PC. More BUs for the control of additional equipment can be added at any time and at any place along the cable line. A single BUS cable runs from one BU to the next. VinInfo Terminals located at intervals on the winery/production area walls give an immediate display of each tank's values and room temperature values. It provides a 12 hour emergency service, securing the data in case of a powercut. The Terminal is related to the Server PC as a master-and-slave system, and will overtake control in case of power-cut. Warning messages can be sent out via email and SMS to report tank temperature malfunctions, cooling unit powercut and other warnings.

For wine

Temperature control can be a real asset to wineries in terms of optimising the consistency, the qualities, and the aromas characteristic of English and Welsh wines. Temperature can be controlled at product tank level; centrally via terminal or remotely; or via air conditioning for storage areas. For beer

Company Development

The Kreyer brand was founded in 1970 in Villefranche sur Saône, France - the centre of the Beaujolais wine production area.
