Speidel FD red wine tanks

These stainless steel tanks for red wine are manufactured by Speidel, who have been producing high quality tanks for the wine & beverage industries for over 100 years. Speidel tanks are used by successful drink producers around the world.

These FD tanks are designed specifically for red wine production to ensure maximum control over the fermentation process. Different versions of FD tank are available to cover various functions (see Application). They are 'fixed capacity' and are available in a large range of sizes, from 1,100 to 15200 litres. They can be supplied with a pneumatic mash plunger, marc breaker (grape cap punch down), automatic juice/must pump over, automatic mash flooder (see YouTube tab below), juice extracting sieves, conical bottoms, and many other options. Speidel FD tanks (up to and including 2000 mm diameter) come with the 25 year Speidel guarantee, provided they are used inside. They are easy clean!

If you require a fixed capacity tank in a hurry we do try to keep at least one size of FS-MO tank in stock and occasionally have used tanks to offer, so please contact us to ask. The tanks we routinely keep in stock are the variable capacity flat bottomed tanks (type BO).
