Voran RM 2.2 centrifugal mill
The RM 2.2 is a heavy duty centrifugal mill manufactured by internationally renowned Voran, suppliers of fruit processing equipment since 1925. Originally designed for milling apples, it is also suitable for use with various other fruits and some vegetables too - see below.
- Capacity of up to 1000 kg per hour
- A robust mill ideal for apple juice / cider production
- Ideal for use with all hydraulic bed presses
- Suitable for fruit mashing for distilleries - see Application for types of fruits
- Suitable for producing cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices - see application
- Fruit is fed manually into the hopper, pulverised by a heavy rotor, and discharged through a perforated screen which resembles a grater
- Interchangeable perforation screens (graters) can be easily swapped for different perforation sizes, allowing you to produce pulp of the optimum consistency for the type and quality of fruit you plan to press.
- A Voran Pomace Trough (part code 91410) is available separately to fit under the RM2.2 mill, with a sloped end and smooth sides to assist with the shovelling of pomace
- Supplied with a 16 amp, 5 pin plug
